The Austin Under 40 Awards committee is looking for volunteers to assist with various duties on the night of the Austin Under 40 Awards gala, taking place on April 1st, 2017 at the JW Marriott. Shift times and duties are still to be determined, but interested members can RSVP through this link to be notified when shift times become available.
Volunteers may work one volunteer shift and receive a discount on a gala ticket. Members may also volunteer and choose to not attend the gala. There are a limited number of spots available, so please RSVP on this link to reserve your spot. Daniel Alvarez, our Volunteer & Registration chair, will follow up with those selected to volunteer at least 2 weeks prior to event.
How long are volunteer shifts?
Volunteers would be expected for a run of show at 11:30-12:30 same day, returning 4:30 for prime time. We will share more details the week before the event.
What volunteer opportunities are available?
Volunteers will be working in shifts + groups to help with various duties throughout the evening: primarily registration and silent auction.
