PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSION – AUSTIN LEADER CHALLENGE

YMBL and the AU40 committee has partnered with Emergent Execs to offer AU40 finalists and YMBL members an exclusive opportunity to participate in an Austin Leader Challenge hosted at the Acton School of Business on Thursday, April 23rd.

Register Here: AU40 Leader Challenge

What’s in it for you? An opportunity to:
  • Meet and learn alongside other emerging leaders like you at some great Austin companies.
  • Dive into a relevant business case facilitated by Ted Beasley, Master Teacher at the Acton School of Business
  • Sharpen your critical thinking and communication skills in a high stakes, boardroom-type atmosphere
  • Strengthen a foundational skill of General Managers – “Standing between Demand and Supply”
  • Get feedback, in the form of a customized scorecard, regarding your communication abilities and General Manager acuities
Past participants are from Austin companies like Apple, Rackspace, GSD&M, RetailMeNot, Indeed, Teacher Retirement System, Goodwill, uShip and many others. This will not only be an opportunity to learn together, but also spend time with other AU40 finalists. You will be competing and learning alongside the best of the best in Austin.

The free event takes place 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. For more information and to register, go to AU40 Leader Challenge. Register soon as we will limit the participation at 20. This program will be a “taste of” the Austin Exec Accelerator, a six-month program that will start on May 28.
