Travis Camp YMBL Workday & Retreat

TRAVIS PREP – 40 PEOPLE NEEDED – PYROMANIACS WELCOME

9:00AM START TIME

The final push to prep the Travis facility for Camp is on April 22nd!  Rain or shine—this is our only opportunity to get the job done.  We’re going to work for a couple hours, polish off a few cases, crash, clean up and go.  We’ll be spreading mulch, cleaning the barn, and power washing the buildings.  We’ll provide lunch and dinner, enough booze for an army, and some tools.  Here’s what I need from you:

• Garden/landscape Rake (10+ needed)
  
• Work gloves and hat  
  
• Strong liver
  
• Shoes or boots (beware of fire ants and snakes)
  
• Strong back
  
• Weed Eaters, Trimmers, Hedge shears
  
• Sawzall; sledge hammer
  
• Swimsuit, Pillow
  

When the job is done, we’ve got a full lake, kayaks, canoes, gaga ball, basketball, and a lot of wood that needs burning.  Many of us will stay the night but it’s not required so hang out as long as you like (the Counselors cabins have A/C)!

I strongly encourage all new members come out to experience our beautiful Travis Camp and get to know the other members.  What a great chance to step up and either start or continue to get involved.
