UPDATE: Due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the City of Austin to limit community gatherings, we have transitioned the 2020 Sunshine Run to a virtual race event. The safety and health of our volunteers and runners is our primary concern.
In order to ensure continued support of the Austin Sunshine Camps, we invite you to sign up for our virtual 5k or 10k. The race will run from May 3rd through May 17th, so you can pick the day you race. Participants will receive a race t-shirt, virtual bib, and finisher’s certificate. Additionally, you’ll be able to post your time and see where you stand compared to other participants!

The 2020 Sunshine Run will feature a variety of competitive and noncompetitive races including a 10K race, a 5K run/walk, Fastest Dog in Austin 5K, and a Kid’s K.
While it’s certainly not mandatory, we encourage all of our registered runners to get involved in our fundraising campaign, with all proceeds benefitting Austin Sunshine Camps. Runners will be eligible for race swag when they reach pre-set fundraising milestones!
Leashed pooches are welcome and have the opportunity to compete for Fastest Dog in Austin. Runners with the fastest pups will qualify for awesome prizes.
We highly encourage kids to get involved. We’ll have a Kids K fun run (for all kids under the age of 12) and a Kids Zone with inflatables, carnival games, face painters, balloons, and more!
