The H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run is a non-profit, pet-friendly event. 100% of every dollar made from registrations benefits directly the Austin Sunshine Camps. Bring family, friends, and colleagues to run with us for a good cause and to celebrate afterwards with food, drinks, and music right in the the heart of Austin, at Vic Mathias Shores. The 2022 H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run races on certified 5K and 10K courses along W Cesar Chavez St. in downtown Austin, parallel to beautiful Lady Bird Lake. We aim to provide a great experience for the whole family, with our timed and untimed options, the Fastest Dog in Austin 5K and our Kids K.
All registrants receive a super soft Sunshine Run T-shirt (including our Virtual participants), and all finishers of the Kids K will receive a ribbon. Our kid friendly expo area will showcase our sponsors and provide fun activities for the kids.

WHY WE RUN: All of the proceeds and funds raised from the Sunshine Run benefit historically underinvested youth of Central Texas through life-changing experiences at the Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) at no cost to their families. Campers receive a free five-day, four-night Summer Camp experience at our Zilker Park and Lake Travis facilities.
